Mitsuyoshi's Theme song

So, Inspired by Koneko's profile having a theme song, I sought out to choose one for my own main OC Mitsuyoshi. I've selected Bushido by Peter Roe as while I was listening to it, I could actually picture some pretty key moments of Mitsuyoshi's life through the years to the present. Since I don't have the art skills to draw the scenes that I envisioned, I have decided to write it out using the time marks as the boundaries for that scene I pictured in my head. It might be easier to read what I've written for the scenes first and then listen to the song that way you don't have to keep pausing and going back and forth or what not.

Scene 00:00 - 00:45:

The scene opens up with Mitsuyoshi's Wolf Daiyoukai mother Aya, fully disguised as a human, carefully handing a bundled up baby Mitsuyoshi to his biological Human father, Daimyo Lord Mitsutomo Nagano, and the intense emotional struggle of a mother having to leave her only child in the hands of his human father for the sake of preventing what would be assuredly result in his death if she were to take him with her to Native Youkai realm where she is to be married off as part of a political alliance there. The scene closes as the boy's father struggles to keep his composure as a Lord, whilst watching the Woman he truly loved depart. A sparkle on Aya's face as her heart breaks and the tears roll down her cheeks, mainting a graceful form as she walks away from her son and true love reincarnated.

Scene 00:45 - 01:04: 

A brief scene showing Mitsuyoshi, now a young boy playing with his younger brother by 3 years who would eventually inherit his Father's fief. The youthful boys clearly enjoying themselves, innocent of war, strife, politics, and social status, but watching in the background Mitsutada's mother, Mitsuyoshi's step mother, watches with bitter scorn. Disapproving greatly of her own son living under the same roof as a half breed son of an illegitimate relationship long before her.

Scene 01:04 - 01:45:

 In this scene the two brothers now older at approximately ages 10 and 7 are seen standing side by side wielding bokken, wooden training swords, as they begin their training as Samurai. Side by side and matching each move as their instructed by their teacher. At the 01:15 Mark of the song, the scene switches, still visually similar. Both Brothers practicing Archery side by side. At 01:25 mark, Now the Brother's are in their teens and are sparring against each other. Their bokken crossing and striking fiercely as their competitiveness reaches a peak. Finally in Scene 01:35 We see Mitsutada has lost the match, laying on the ground, disarmed, and Mitsuyoshi's Bokken pointed at him, but as the scene closes we see Mitsuyoshi offer a hand to help him up with warm smile to his younger brother who we see take his hand.

Scene 01:45 - 02:08: 

In this scene we an adult Mitsutada of 40 years of age, a strong and serious looking man with ambition and hunger for glory in his eyes, dressed in full Samurai armor and seated on a folding chair on top of a hill, flanked by his Generals and staff, the Nagano Clan's war banners proudly displayed behind him as he holds his war fan, fully open and pointed at the camera. The camera then retracts through Formations of Samurai warriors before finally stopping in front of an Adult Mitsuyoshi of 43 years of age, but looking no older than 25. He too is fully suited in armor and at the head of a formation of infantry, in his eyes we see the burning desire to serve and please his Lord and Brother as he and the Formation he leads are advancing ahead of the rest of the army to engage their enemy across the field.

Scene 02:08 - 02:33:

In this scene we see Mitsuyoshi engaged in one on one combat with Masatoshi Suwa, younger brother of Lord of the enemy Suwa clan. Their battle occurring seemingly in their own private moment, despite the intense melee of the armies taking place around them. The scene ends as Mitsuyoshi delivers the final blow and Masatoshi Suwa collapses to the ground.

Scene 02:33 - 04:00:

In this next scene we see Mitsuyoshi in the present setting of the RP. Alone and Kneeling on a hill against a backdrop of the Sakura in full bloom. Almost with the beat of the music, He suddenly draws his sword rapidly and cuts across while taking a step forward before holding his sword in front of him ready to strike before proceeding to advance and make a downward strike with his sword before Twisting with his right side going backward, bring his sword up to his right side as if to block or deflect a strike. He's essentially just practicing, but amidst the scenes of him practicing alone, the background fades to memories of those he loved. His Wife Ayame, adopted daughter Hanako, and the Priestess Akari who was like a real mother to him. As Mitsuyoshi continues his practice moves, fighting and invisible enemy, The memories in the background show brief scenes with each that he fondly recalls, Ayame in the garden partaking in Hanami(Flower viewing), The painful memory of a grief stricken Mitsuyoshi holding her in his arms as she passed, Hanako holding her little wooden toy shaped like a cat, smiling warmly in all her innocence, Akari lovingly holding, embracing him as he cried(For what reason it's not clear in this scene, but I can definitely tell ya later). as the scene starts to wind down we return to the same backdrop of the Sakura in full bloom, only it is now Sunset and a gentle breeze scatters the flowers to the wind. It is then that we see His Father's ghost, smiling in approval and pride as he watches his son from beyond the other realm, He is joined by the ghostly appearances of Mitsuyoshi's younger brother Mitsutada, Ayame, and Hanako.


Scene 04:00 - 04:10:

Amidst the sunset backdrop, the Ghosts of his loved ones long past fade as he sheathes his sword and turns to his right facing the sunset, as the camera moves up behind him. We see a camp fire at the bottom of the hill, surrounded by his newfound friends/family waving to him, signaling that dinner is ready. As the Camera pans around to his face we see a tear at the corner of his eye, but a smile soon crosses his face as he acknowledges his new loved ones and it closes with him going off screen to join them at the camp fire.
