Situated on the North western side of Mount Fuji lies the Aokigahara Forest. Known in modern times for the amounts of suicides that occur there annually, it is said that the forest even harbors a dark energy that draws people there to die and even has a strong magnetism that throws off compasses, almost as if to consume those lost here.
Here in the Aokigahara Forests many spirits and yokai can be encountered here so be on guard as you travel through this dense and beautiful, yet dangerous forest.
